
Dahi Kadhi / Perugu Pachadi / Majjiga Pulusu

Ingredients
- 500 gms Curd
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Jeera
- 4 no Green Mirchi
- 4 no Red Mirchi
- 8 no Garlic
- 1 no Chopped Onion – Big
- 2 tbsp Chana Dal
- 4 no Tomato (Small)
- 1 and Half tbsp Turmeric
- 1 and Half tbsp Salt (As per your taste)
- Few Curry Leaves
- Few Coriander Leaves
Instructions
- Take a Deep pan, add 2 tbsp of Oil, and heat it over medium flame for a minute.
- Add Garlic pods and fry until they turn golden brown.
- Add Jeera, Mustard Seeds and Chana Dal and fry for 10 seconds
- Add chopped Onions and slit Green Chilies, and fry over medium flame until the onions turn golden brown.
- Now add Red Mirchi and fry for 30 seconds
- Add Curry leaves and fry for 10-15 seconds
- Add Tomatoes, Salt, and Turmeric, and mix well for a minute. Now add Coriander leaves and continue cooking for 2 more minutes or until the tomatoes are smoothly mashed.
- Turn off the stove and let it cool
- Take Curd, add a little bit of water, and beat it to make it smooth.
- Add curd to the tomato mixture and mix well until all the ingredients are properly combined. At this point, add salt and mix (if necessary).Dahi Kadhi / Perugu Pachadi is ready to be served.
